I have really fair skin so I have experienced many burns in my day. I always use a ton of aloe to soothe my skin. When I'm extremely burned, I get sore and sometimes it's bad enough that I even feel like I can't move, in that case, I take Aleve. It's good for muscle soreness that's even caused by a sunburn. The cloths, baths, and cold showers are great ideas, too! This is a great article for precautions as well as ways to treat sunburns.
